Clearing!
It was clear from the start that this day was going to be different; temperatures were decidedly lower, and the cloud cover just begged to break itself up. This time we managed to start the lunch even ahead of schedule, and the ensuing events were fun to observe: having been "bottled up" for several days, everyone virtually ran off (on skis) in all directions in a matter of minutes, seeking to make the most of the extended break in bright sunlight which had only recently returned.
Myself, I opted to climb Giedtietjaerhvie, the rise just north of the cottages, which opened up some fantastic views to the southwest and southeast. It was cold, granted, but there was almost no wind, and the crisp beauty of the silent winter landscape was simply astonishing. The evening held another sauna session, of course.
